Submitted by frog on 04-13-2024 09:52 AMAbout half my clients have a bit of foreign tax withheld but I don't want to file Form 1116 unless I'm required. Why do I have to make multiple entries in the program to suppress the form when it's not needed? There should be an option to suppress by default.

Thanks for the idea to add an option to suppress Form 1116 unless user is required. We are changing the status to "Open for voting".
