Returns get rejected after clients signs off on the return but then a day later we get an electronic rejection from the IRS or State. Now we have to re-open the client file contact the client and fix what should have been completed already. I submitted a NY return with no criticals then it gets rejected because  I need to enter in Spouse Drivers license. This creates so much more work, this should have been a diagnostic. Also, I had to call Lacerte to find where to enter the License into. This info should be available on all rejections.
