Submitted by girlcpa WednesdayThis form is used by a lot of farmers - whose tax return is due March 1st. UltraTax has had this form out a while and even Drake will have this form done before Lacerte. The IRS released this form in December. For both tax year 2023 and 2024 Lacerte has made me do all my farmers the last two days before the due date. This makes my firm look bad. This makes me question why Lacerte feels they are a premier software and charge accordingly. I have called several times. I would like a real answer back. I have posted my concern on the Iowa Society blog so that ALL the CPA's in Iowa can be aware of the issue and try to assist me somehow.
