I have spent over 3 hours on the phone with Tech Support, they have no idea how to setup the program in such a way and will not elevate the issue.
Lacerte issued a White Paper "Citrix Environment", it clearly indicates it can be done, but does not provide any detail on how to customize the needed paths.
RightWorks, Cetrom, and other solutions all have limitations ranging from Price, to Performance to Lack of Support for certain programs. We have run Lacerte for a year on a Cloud Terminal Service, but it lacked the ability to have individual user preferences. Otherwise, worked flawlessly.
Why does Lacerte refuse to help its customers trying to embrace technology? Please step up and do the right thing Inuit.
