Submitted by orcg on 04-03-2023 03:15 PMI know the ocde writers don't see this as an issue but when we unlock the return for ANYTHING! It will update the entire file, that is why we use the lock feature so that Lacerte will NOT automatically update the file. So when we have to post a payment we have to unlock the return risking the possibility of the return changing from what was originally efiled. This must be corrected, this creates a huge waste of time for our team, and just seems like such an easy fix. We pay 10's of thousands of dollars to Intuit for the pleasure of you using Lacerte the least they could do is make it more time saving for myself and my staff.
