PA-1000

I'm new to this community.  I thought I would be directed to a site where I could give feedback to Intuit for situation(s) encountered or suggestions.  I just tried e-filing a PA-1000 with my PA-40; however, it's being reviewed by Intuit, and I understand that it will likely be rejected, and not forwarded to PA.  This per customer service representative.  She read a line that though the PA-1000 can be completed and printed out through the tax program, it cannot be submitted electronically.I thought that might be the case based on how I was reading the PA-1000 booklet, but did not ask up front as the repr. was assisting me.  This is because I checked off several boxes that would indicate that the form PA 1000 could be electronically filed (i.e., Do you want to elect direct deposit of Property Tax or Rent Rebate (PA-1000 only)?  There was another box I can't locate easily that was associated with filing that packet electronically. These check boxes should be taken out then if you can't actually e-file the PA-1000.  Any information or insight into this situation would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you in advance.

To be a little fair, direct deposit can be chosen for paper filed returns, too.

Yes, you're correct.  I thought of that a little after submitting it.  I want to say, though I wouldn't swear to it, there was another box I could not locate quickly, and I thought it indicated something to the effect of filing that form electronically.  The repr. indicted this was to provide feedback, and I thought that was for the firm, but instead, I see it's a community.

In the meantime, I did see past posts for last 3/4/5/ years on this and they mail them in, which I've done in years past, and did in this situation, just to be safe.  My return was accepted with the PA 1000 attached, but I don't want to take a chance.

And, thank you for your comment.  Have a great rest of your tax season.
