Submitted by speciallady a week agoTax Year 2024 Student Loan Interest entered in federal return transferred to Vermont state tax return Schedule IN-112, Part 1, Subtractions from Federal Adjusted Gross Income line 15a. Tax Year 2025 the Student Loan Interest is suppose to transfer to IN-112, Part 1, Subtractions from Federal Adjusted Gross Income line16a. It did not transfer to this form. I had to manipulate the system in order to get the amount in the return correctly.
