Submitted by tkdavis on 05-01-2023 12:40 PMThe computation of the Oklahoma form 511-NOL is different from the computation of the federal NOL and is currently not supported by Lacerte. I prepare the Oklahoma form 511-NOL schedules by hand for my clients who have Oklahoma NOLs. Depending upon the number of years of OK NOLs involved this process takes anywhere from 30 minutes to a couple of hours to prepare and attach copies to the return. I have noticed that there are other tax software currently preparing the NOL forms for Oklahoma or at least makes them available so preparers can manually input data so the software can include the forms with the e-filed returns. Is this something Lacerte can do?
