Submitted by AG on 03-04-2022 01:59 PMI am very surprised and disappointed that Intuit Tax Dropoff does not work as it should. This should be a seamless process. If TurboTax, which is also owned by Intuit, can make the importing process easy and seamless, why can't Lacerte also do this well? EVERY single one of my clients has had issues with Tax Dropoff; none of them has been able to activate the dropoff for W-2s this year and most of them have had to log off the system and log back in for each tax form!
Furthermore, when I do the Tax Import on Lacerte, I encounter issues as well (in many cases, the basis of stock transactions is missing, some stock transactions are imported as long-term instead of short-term, etc). When is the dropoff/import function going to work as it should?
