Submitted by jdjoiner on 02-13-2023 07:29 PMLacerte does not support Forms 8985 and 8986. These forms are required in order to file an AAR for a partnership. I cannot believe the most expensive and supposedly robust tax software does not allow its customers to comply with the law by filing these forms. We have 76 partners in this partnership and cannot prepare manually 76 of these un-supported forms. If I was going to work more years, I would convert to another software. Lacerte is just not worth the money.
