I don't understand how this issue STILL persists. Clients do NOT like the e-organizers, so I end up having to email the paper organizers as pdf files, through the Lacerte print option. And probably about 20% of clients reply that the email attachment (organizer) shows up a non-openable winmail.dat file. I have to then print the pdf of that client's organizer to my desktop and email them separately, with that attachment from my desktop.
This has something to do with the way Lacerte opens Outlook when generating the email. I have tried Lacerte's "fix" of making sure that Outlook options are to compose mail in either plain text or html format, but this does NOTHING to fix the issue.
Does anyone else have this problem every year? Organizers have now become such a huge time sink and it seems like it gets worse every year.
