When entering changes to income, withholding, & deductions you have to calculate an addition or subtraction to get the end result. Example If the 2022 wages is $250,00 but the 2023 wages will be $110,000, you have to enter -$140,000 to wages. It would be better to just have to enter $110,000. Also the state estimate taxes should follow the federal income when making these type of estimated income changes. For Massachusetts, the estimated income should follow the federal income. I had to look at the estimated federal income and make a negative change to my MA income to my state estimated income equal to my federal income. Example my federal income is $200,000, but the state shows $380,000. I had to enter -$180,000 to get the state income equal to federal income.
