Submitted by SDEAINCA on 10-24-2024 02:19 PMI suggest that Lacerte adds a double input line for direct deposit/debit account number for verification purposes. Almost every instance, other than Lacerte, you have to enter your bank account number there is always a double entry to confirm correct input. It should be critical diagnostic if the two input fields do not match.
It would also be nice if the name of the financial institution was verified based on routing number input.
