Submitted by gaglio a week agothe "w24cal-launcher.exe" launches the 2024 appointment manager, but it launches it with a completely colorless background. If on the other hand you launch the appointment manager from within the 2024 Lacerte program (Control-F5 or the calendar button on the top bar), the appointment manager opens with a yellow background. The yellow background is the preferred style, but I do not want to open Lacerte in order to open the calendar. For security reasons reasons I want the Front desk receptionist to have calendar access WITHOUT LEAVING THE LACERTE PROGRAM OPEN! And the yellow background with contrasting white colored appointments is important and efficient.
I have always put an Appointment Manager shortcut on every desktop to take the user straight to the appointment manager without needing to open the program. The Lacerte helpdesk can not figure out how to rectify the discrepancy in the background color.
