Alabama Form 40 and Child Tax Credit

We are unable to print our Alabama State Tax return Form 40 and supporting schedules. We have some clients that HAVE to mail in their returns and we also provide ALL our clients with a copy of their returns we filed for them. Please update me on when this is expected to be completed since there is only a month and half left in tax season we need it ASAP. We spoke with the AL Department of Revenue about this issue and they said they have released all AL returns to everyone of their software clients so the issue lies with Lacerte. 

Also, the State of Alabama passed a new bill on 2/23/22 Bill 231 that is affective as of 12/31/2021 so we need that adjustment made to the software ASAP because can not file anyone tax returns (efile or paper) that have children without this adjustment. Please let me know when this will be done. 

We have clients calling and complaining daily that their returns are not ready and we have to example it is our software issues. Our other accountant neighbors that use a different provided (software) are not having this issue.

This may signal the end of a 33 year relationship with Lacerte. I cannot operate my firm with this issue on February 25th. We have 645 returns that we cannot print client "keep copies".
