Keeping track of estimated tax payments - when they are not processed through Lacerte - has to be done manually. It would be nice to have a place to input the next year estimated tax payments and a reference number when those payments are made and then have that information proforma over to the new year showing up in the estimated tax payments screen.
For clients that are paying their own estimates or for those clients that we pay estimates for with the bookkeeping, it becomes a time-consuming task to keep up with.
Also, it would be really nice if we could generate reports or a dashboard function on clients with upcoming estimates that need to be processed so we can do them all at once.
