Why would schedule 1, line 19 have a "D" in the margin?

We calculated a deductible IRA for this client, and Lacerte is entering a D next to the $6,000 deduction.

Because Page 94 of the Form 1040 instructions says "If you are married filing separately and you lived apart from your spouse for all of 2020, enter “D” on the dotted line next to Schedule 1, line 19. If you don’t, you may get a math error notice from the IRS."
