I'm a new customer (well, at this point I'm not sure I've actually received anything for my money).
I get this:
Something went wrong with your Prep File download. Please try again.
pop-up when I try to download the prep file. The same happens for prior years. This has been going on for weeks now.
It seems my account has not been set up to be able to install the 2021 prep file (though it has let me install the program). I have left messages for the account manager and sales person to no avail. I've also been on the phone with support for a hours in trying to install the software.
Anyone else have this issue? How did this get resolved?
And can anyone recommend another software program for a small specialist that does 1120 & 1120-F returns that actually works?

Yes, the way I was setup as a customer by the sales team had to be redone. It took a few calls and a whole lotta patience, and finding a brilliant tech person.
I'm also "complicated" as I'm in the UK, and LaCerte is VERY US centric. Surely there are CPA's with international addresses, for instance. I hope this can be added in the future, but will work around it in the meantime
Still working through some other minor issues, but is a learning process and am doing ok now. Thanks for the reply 🙂
