I have been having issues updating 2023 Lacerte for about a month. I have called Intuit multiple times and the answer is always go to tool hub and do WebSetup which I have done now 7 plus times. I have walked multiple tech people through the update so they can see the freeze and I have a case number but today when I called it did no good, I was on hold for 35 minutes and no resolve. When I called last week one of the people I talked with said it was a known issue and the next person I talked with said they had not heard of it, auugghh. Has anyone had this issue or know if this issue is going on? Thanks
Did they have you do the FORCE install?
Have you tried the following steps?
1. Use Windows to Uninstall 2023 Lacerte Tax (this does not affect you data.)
2. Shut down the computer
3. Start the computer and then run 2023 Lacerte Web Setup (or use Tool Hub)
I hope support has helped you try all of the above and that is a repeat of what you know. In that case ignore and understand I feel the pain of your frustration.
I had already done the force install so I followed the below steps and uninstalled 2023 and now re-installed. I won't be able to tell if it's working until Intuit pushes out another update for 2023 and then I will try to update like normal and see if still freezes on New York. Thanks
I have the hosted product which updates automatically. I have a diagnostic that says I need to update my software. Tech support has not been helpful.
