IS THERE AN EMAIL ADDRESS TO REPORT BUGS?

The Lacerte 2021 program has a bug in the in program "Lacerte Updates" feature under "Tools".  In all previous versions of Lacerte if you select "Lacerte Updates" a window appears and shows if updates are available.  If updates are available and you select "Update" another window pops up showing all the modules with updates available and it opens another communications window and starts downloading the modules until it finishes.  In the update modules available window it showed the list of available modules decreasing as they downloaded and in the communication window it shows the modules as they are received.

The bug is that first window showing the list of available modules is now a grey blank screen which is hidden behind the main program window.  That list of modules available for download and the active process should be listed and available for viewing especially on slow internet connections.  That grey blank screen can be seen if you hover your cursor over the 21 icon on the task bar, and it can be viewed if you click on it.  Where is the update modules list???

Yes I agree the update and communications windows should be behind the main window allowing you to continue using the program or other programs while it is downloading the updates especially if you have to wait an hour for all the updates to come in. (slow internet)  With nothing showing activity, you may close the program before it is completed.  The windows should display and show activity and auto hide when you click on the main window or open another program.

Yes the program does update, but you just cannot monitor what it is doing anymore.

By the way there should be a report bugs link feature under help in the main program to take you to a monitored web site or monitored email.

@misakop Attention this is not an official site to report bugs.  Once and awhile a coyote or other bug killer can help, but I think you mentioned Lacerte.  They have their own forumn and know a lot more about that package over there.  We deal mostly with Proseries software.
