Is there a way to force CA Form 3461 to print even if Lacerte thinks it is not required?

You should be able to see the form and from that forms view you can print it for your records or to share with client. I am  pretty sure Lacerte does not arbitrarily not print forms. The instructions for 3461 say

"B Who Must File
File form FTB 3461 if you are a noncorporate taxpayer and your net
losses from all of your trades or businesses are more than $262,000
($524,000 for married taxpayers filing a joint return). A trust subject to
tax under IRC Section 511 should complete form FTB 3461 if it has a loss
attributable to its trade or business of more than $262,000.
Attach form FTB 3461 to the applicable tax return you file.
• Form 540, California Resident Income Tax Return
• Form 540NR, California Nonresident or Part-Year Resident Income
Tax Return
• Form 541, California Fiduciary Income Tax Return
• Form 541-QFT, California Income Tax Return for Qualified Funeral
Trusts
• Form 109, California Exempt Organization"

Thanks George,

What I was asking is I want lacerte to include the 3461 with the e-file.  So when I said force it to print that is what I was referring to.

I see no way to force it to print.

You could save the form to pdf and attach it to the e-file. That would assure it does go with the e-file.
