I tried to send a request for eSignature through the individual module and instead of handling the request as usual where the files get sent to the taxpayer it is instead printing to PDF and I can save to disk, but the next screen for eSignature does not include the federal 8879 and says it is not available. It also does not have the CA efile or the review copy of the return.
Has this happened to anyone?

Not sure if this is the issue, but I'd go to Settings > Options while in the Individual module and make sure that your default printer is set to an actual printer and not "Lacerte Tax PDF".
