Do I need a new EIN going from Multi member LLC to Single Member LLC and then electing S-corp

Hi there, my partner sold me his interest and our LLC turned into single member LLC, and I'm choosing to elect S-corp, do i need to get a new EIN?

It sounds like you plan to incorporate the entity.

How is this is question for using the Lacerte program to prepare your clients' tax return? "My partner" makes this seem it is a personal advice request.

You need guidance to understand what is required from an S Corp and its operations.
