Lacerte will not let me efile a return. It says I need to update my software. I go to Lacerte Updates and it says I'm on the most current version. I check my available Lacerte updates and there is nothing there.
Any suggestions?

Sometimes, it is as simple as a restart of your system after update. Try that.
