Is there a delay at Intuit in processing 2025 California e-file returns?
I have been waiting since Friday for same thing. CA is sitting in Lacerte. ???
@Taxcoach Thanks for stopping by the community to see if anyone else is experiencing delayed acknowledgements for CA. Please note that taxing agencies can take 2-5 business days for acknowledgements. When returns are outstanding longer than this expected turnaround time, we are automatically notified and begin working directly with the agency. Here is a support article that provides further details on this process:
How to check for delayed e-file acknowledgements
We look forward to seeing you around the community.
@ben530 Thanks confirming you are seeing the same thing. Please see the support article that was posted for Taxcoach. Taxing Agencies can take up to 5 business days so the acknowledgements are not considered late until after this time. We look forward to your continued support in the community! Happy posting.
Hi @ValO Thanks for visiting the community and posting your first question! We also appreciate you chiming in to let us know you haven't received acknowledgements yet. Please refer to the support article provided, as returns outstanding beyond 5 business days would be considered late. We look forward to your future contributions here in the community!
The issue we were all having was with Lacerte not forwarding the files to CA. We weren't having problems with delayed state acknowledgments, only with Lacerte not forwarding the files. It has been resolved.
@Taxcoach Thank you for clarifying. We are glad that the issue is fixed, and we appreciate you letting us know!
