Has anyone else been experiencing Lacerte issues for NYC Tax? We are completing returns and correctly checking off that the client lives in NYC FULL Year - send the client the review with accurate numbers. Then the system is erroneously changing this to "NO" after returns are completed and FINAL. This removed the NYC tax and causing errors in our tax filings. We know its a system error because after we send the final review summary, no one changes the returns.
We already have a lot of clients getting letters from NY due to this error and now owing the NYC tax.
Please assist. Getting a hold of someone on the phone is extremely time consuming and they never have a fix for any issue I call about.
