Many (not all) of the current year's screens give you last years data in a column to the right.
I agree with sjrcpa and mojocpa, but I go one more step. I make alternate line shading different for each year. I generally like grey, so I reserve it for the current year. Each year with a new year release, I pick some garish color for the now last year. That helps to insure I don't enter into into the wrong year. Settings > Options > Fonts & Colors > Alternate Line Shading.
