For the last several days when trying to efile, I get error code 504. It says The Lacerte electronic filing center is temporarily unavailable.

It could be update related, be sure to have the most current version installed, and if not, i would suggest contacting support at 800-933-9999.  The '504' is a very generic error and could be a variety of things causing that error.

Before making that dreaded call to support, try reinstalling the program via WebSetUp and force it to reinstall even if the message says you are on the most recent version.

(And, no...this won't impact your data 🙂
