I have a client with rental properties in multiple states, but the depreciation screen only allows for assignment to a single state. How do you correct this?

This creates a critical diagnostic error because the income and expenses are assigned to the actual state location.

Unless you have a property on the dividing line between states, each depreciable asset should be coded to only one state. The state tag is entry-by-entry; the notation at the top of the screen tells you what state tag will be linked to the next entry. You just need to go through each asset and make sure the state tag to the right of each number is correct.
