Question re Form 8582, page 3: I have prior unallowed losses on real estate sold this year - how do I 'allow' those losses in the current year???

Mark the rental (screen 18) as "delete next year".

ASSUMING that the sale was a "fully taxable transaction".

And where you report the sale, mark the Complete disposition box (assuming that is correct as Anna mentioned)

Now you have me entirely confused.  I am a very long term Lacerte user and it is extremely rare that I have sought assistance.  I have no idea of protocols with this......this has made it an uncomfortable experience for me and I will not bother you guys again.
