It is too early to be losing my mind (don't answer that). This client has a FinCEN 114 for a foreign retirement savings account. So no taxable interest income on Schedule B.
However, Part III we should check yes as she has signature authority. Yet the box on Screen 11 (code 55) only accepts a 1 to say no foreign account. All jump to input and roads lead to this box that I can find
I vaguely remember you used to be able to type in the country here and then get the yes box checked. I guess I can file without it checked as we do file the appropriate FinCEN forms, yet seems it should be yes and there is an answer out there somewhere.
