FTB delaying payment deadline (04-18-22)
Due to a service disruption to the FTB’s Web Pay application, the FTB will be extending the payment deadline to 11:59 p.m. Tuesday, April 19, 2022.
As a result of these service disruptions, we have heard from numerous tax professionals whose clients made multiple payment attempts after receiving a Web Pay error. In many cases, these clients then received multiple payment confirmations. The FTB has assured us that they will cancel any duplicate payments made by taxpayers.
