All the returns I sent yesterday say US transmission failed. I am set for automatic updates yet the diagnostic says I need an update. When I go to tools to check for updates it continually says error and try again later. I tried calling Lacerte but possibly because it is the weekend there is no tech support available. Any thoughts?
I am wondering if you should reinstall the program. I've had to do that a couple times this season already, and it seems to work.
I haven't had your particular problem at hand, but if you are supposed to get auto updates and you aren't, a reinstall may fix it. I had an auto update yesterday, I believe.
Lacerte customer "support" is absolutely useless. They're nice enough, but completely unhelpful and a gross waste of time. I just don't think they have had the proper training.
