The following diagnostic is generating: I've attached a 1098-C to Form 8283 but Lacerte says I have not. I can see the PDF attached when I click on "view PDF".

What choice did you make when attaching it? (Probably the wrong one.)

In the Efile attachment screen you need to also select the appropriate "activity name or number" after linking the PDF attachment to "Form 8283 Sec A Form 1098C"
