I am not able to access my company files after Restoring Backups of the company Files.
Every year I backup my company files.
Rename the same files by Year. Example "ABC Company-2025"
And then restore my Backup files.
Now I am unable to work on the original restored backups!!!

Hi @JRC Thanks for posting in the Community about being unable to work on the original restored backups. If you have not already we recommend reaching out to EasyACCT Support. They would be able to remote in and take a look with you.
I stayed on the 2024/2025 version after hearing all the problems. I transmitted the fourth quarter 941 for one company on January 1, 2026. I received an e-file acknowledgement, but have not yet received an ACK Succeeded message. I am not sure if it went through? I will try to call support today, but I assume the lines will be very busy from all the problems.
I am not sure how to handle the 940 as the Info System doesn't seem to do the electronic transmission of 941 or 940. There are no more updates on the 2024/2025 version, so I am not sure how I am going to get an electronic 940 done. Any suggestions from the forum would be appreciated. I know I can print the 940 from the Info System, but how do I transmit it electronically.
Is Intuit trying to force everyone to go to Quickbooks by not fixing the EasyAcct? I use Quickbooks for some clients for bookkeeping, but it is very slow on payroll. If I have to go elsewhere for payroll, I will, but it won't be to Quickbooks. This is not the time of year to be having so many problems with the software. Very unappreciated. I would not be surprised if a class action suit does not result from this.
