log-in page disappears

Has anybody had an issue with the log-in page disappearing before being able to type in a password?

I don't use EasyACCT, but I have encountered this with Lacerte. There is a pop up that disappears behind the sign in. Hold Alt and press Tab to show open screens. Hopefully you can find the pop up and close it to get to the sign in.

Well, that didn't work. Any other suggestions before I call tech support?

With the tax programs:

1. Shut down your computer after install

2. Restart computer and if program does not work, Uninstall the program (this does not affect data in the tax program, but you should be sure to back up all your work before trying.)

4. Install the program and restart the computer.
