Anybody else having this issue when trying to Transfer Company Information from one Company to Another? I am wanting to copy the Financial Statement Design from one of my established Company's into a new Company. I am going into the new Company, selecting Company Setup Wizard, Selecting Transfer Company Information, choosing the Data Path of the established Company and choosing the established Company as the Company to Copy information from, but when I try to check the box next to Financial Statement Design an error message pops up saying "There is no Financial Statement Design to transfer." I know there is a Financial Statement Design there because I have printed Financial Statements in that Company for the past 15 years.

The only data we've been able to transfer is posted GL transactions. Nothing else will transfer since the conversion to the 25/26 program. I genuinely can't believe they haven't fixed this yet.

Hi @joshuastone Please make sure you are using the most updated version of EasyACCT. We recommend that you contact EasyACCT Support as they are best equipped to help in this situation.
Yes, was updated to the most recent version of EasyACCT, 2025.2.16, and still have the issue.
I just discovered this issue and we are on version 2025.3.03.
I too am using 2025.3.03 & I am having the same issue. I have been having it for some time now. I thought EasyAcct would fix something that simple, but they haven't yet. I need this fixed EasyAcct so I can print my financials & do the corp returns for my clients. I realize you have been turning out updates & fixing things, however, there are still bugs & these are simple fixes. I noticed the updates have slowed to once a week now, but if it's still having issues, send down updates more than once a week until all issues are resolved. We're almost all the way thru the season now & still are having to beg for things to be fixed. Usually by this time it's just a maintenance thing or at the most an update to the 941 form. I wish I knew visual basic & how to code. If I did I'd do it myself just to see if I could get it fixed.
Hi @alishabullock and @nickdrake Thank you for posting about this. Please contact EasyACCT Support so that we can get it properly reported and addressed.
@IntuitKate Have your developers tested doing a Company Transfer of Custom Financial Statement design? Maybe that's a great place to start, send them a note to run a test. I often work outside support hours to call in.
@alishabullock @nickdrake We checked on this and were unable to duplicate it. We would try going into the company you were transferring from, save the FI template, and then try again. If you are still needing assistance we would ask that you please reach out to EasyACCT Support so they can take a look at your specific situation and troubleshoot with you.
Hello
I was able to call in this afternoon and spoke with a support agent. I went into a company with a custom design and saved the template as instructed and went back to reattempt the transfer and it still generated the "The is no Financial Statement Design to transfer." error.
I tried other companies in the same directory as well and got the same error. I also went into the company I wanted to use and added an instruction line and saved it so there were actual changes to save to possibly get the 'saving the template' trick to work, also no success. I did the same with our sample file that we often use on new setups, no success. I've previously copied these to the C:\ drive, no success. I had another software with issues so I was unable to get on a screen share today but I will continue to that step at a later date.
However my update is that...going to Write UP→Update Company File→Financial Statements→Custom Statements and saving the company you wish to transfer from's design and then retrying does not fix the issue. And yes, all companies on our system are contained in the same directory and data file repairs and moving to the hard drive has also been attempted and doesn't fix the issue.
