EASYACCT software

I was told that there would be an update on 12/26 to fix all of the issues with the software.  I was told today that the update would not be available until after the first of the year.  This is ridiculous.  We are being held hostage from a software company that has already been paid.  You need to get this fixed asap even if you have to work on holidays.  We do not have any belief that the reports are correct at this point.  In my nearly 20 years of using this software, I have never had this bad of an issue.  There have been issues but nothing of this magnitude.  I hope everyone else is having better luck.

Also no help or updates to 25.26 version on backing up?? Have spent hours installing and uninstalling to try to remedy, but the data transfers/backups are not loading properly on the target drive. Seems to only have use on one computer and I am nervous about using that. The employees and vendors are completely gone-only GL shows up-ready to give up and convert back to 2024 version-I travel between offices and have to rely on reliable back ups so I am in dead water right now! Have spent so many hours thinking it was something I did wrong on the install!! I have to run payroll on 12/30/25 (for a 1/2/25 PR date) and am completely freaked out this is only going to start a huge mess for me! What is the remedy and when are we going to see it???????

It may be time to consider a different software.

Intuit only cares about TurboTax and Quickbooks, so any other software is just an afterthought that won't have any priority.

Hi and thanks for taking the time to posting in the Community. We understand the concerns being raised and recognize the impact this is having on workflows. 

 

At this time, we do not have an estimated timeline for all fixes. However, the most recent release (Version 2025.2.01) included the following updates:

• 2026 Tax Tables and Form W-2
• Enter Transaction screen issue where the amount disappears when tabbing to the Open Manual Payroll Entry screen from the Reference cell
• A/P invoices dated on the first or last day of the month not appearing on the AP GL Distribution report
• Ability to delete employees from the Employee Information screen
• Earnings Report filter excluding valid employees
• Bank Reconciliation showing the period in the Payee/Description field
• New Vendor Account Number not saving or displaying when created via the transaction entry flow
• Automatic invoices not calculating
• A/P automatic invoices not generating and displaying an error message
• Earnings record and Employee Information not matching the Payroll Journal
