Instead I handed him a tax return forgetting to complete the form 4562. He took a quick look at it and said to me, “hey c’mon, I just gave you a raise. Show some depreciation!!!” There was once an accountant that decided to become an artist. He gave up on it after he discovered that only art he was good at was “paint by the numbers”. Have you heard the joke about the interesting accountant? No?? Me neither.
