ProConnect™ Tax Online and QuickBooks® Online Accountant Take Top Honors at Innovation Awards

The integration of Intuit® ProConnect™ Tax Online and QuickBooks® Online Accountant (QBOA) won a Tax and Accounting Technology Innovation Award from the CPA Practice Advisor at the publication’s annual awards competition. The awards were handed out on June 6 at the California Accounting and Business Show & Conference in Los Angeles, Calif.

Receiving an honorable mention was Practice Management, a new feature inside QBOA that was released in May. The Firm of the Future blog ran an article earlier this year highlighting the integration of ProConnect Tax Online and QBOA. In addition, here is an article recently published about practice management.

The winners of the awards are selected from nominated products by the publication’s editorial board and awards committee, which include thought leaders and professionals engaged in various practice specialties across the country.

CPA Practice Advisor had this to say about the awards: “As cloud-based technologies continue to become prevalent in professional accounting firms, new and enhanced methods of collaboration, internally and with clients, are emerging. These tools are allowing firms to better management workflows, and to be more productive and more secure, while engaging with clients in ways that are convenient and productive for them, as well.”

Now in its 14th year, the awards highlight this progress in workflow management and client collaboration, with this year’s winners all offering cloud-based solutions that enhance firm operations.
