How many here remember how to itemize? Something we used to do, before the interest on a $300,000 mortgage was 3%. Soon, it’s going to be a $500,000 house at 6%. Not only that, but when does the SALT limitation go away? 2025? Congress will be gridlocked the next couple years, so that’s one that won't be extended.
And EBE, especially when standard mileage rate hits 70 cents. Not to mention the fun we’ll have, with clients with electric vehicles who want to claim actual costs. Remember back when cell phones were listed property? And we got itemized bills with minutes shown for each call. Form 9876: How many kw did you buy at home at what time-of-day price, and how many did you buy on the road?
