Pro Basic California Efile question

SantaClaude

Need assistance, I am new to Pro Basic software. Under Client E-file, I completed and e-file Fed and CA returns. The Fed and CA returns were all accepted, then e-file complete and under "client status" EF accepted by FED but for CA that column is blank. E-file submissions were completed 7 days ago. So any reason why FED returns accepted and CA is blank? Thanks

The Client Status column only applies to Federal Returns. In the federal return, there is a worksheet for Client Status where you can track various items including appointments and if the client has been billed or paid. For the most up to date e-file information, you would always want to use the EF Status column. This will always show you the E-File Status for federal and any state returns filed electronically.
