EV credit 2024 8936

Although client qualifies for the credit, it does not flow.  Wondering if the form is final.

Does the vehicle qualify?

Does the purchase qualify?

Proseries, Professional edition

Yes all entries made

I have verified that car Qualifies

Client did not transfer credit

All MAGi are met.  

Client owes taxes

Direction 8936 says to Click verified VIN ( get an error stating return must be efiled first

Already done. 

So I guess the original question got missed. 

Is 8936 and 8936-A up to date

Last year, for one of these credits (can't remember the specifics...) you had to enter the anticipated credit amount to get it to trigger.

Maybe try that for this year too?

Did you click the little box at top of worksheet "I certify the VIN number is correct ? I missed that box, and it did not flow
