Entering Summary info from 1099-B

Client received a 1099-B 42 pages doubled sided, there are approximately 100 trades and 50 stocks with dividends. I plan on summarizing the stock trades and attaching a pdf file, my questions is can I do the same for the dividends. Just put the total of all dividend info on int/div worksheet with a statement saying "SEE  ATTACHED 1099-B for details." All advice is welcome. In the past have always written out the dividends in Sch B, no time this year.

There should be a page in there someplace providing a total of dividends.  Take that total and enter it on schedule B.  If cost basis has been provided to the IRS, all you need to do is enter the total sales and total basis broken down between long term and short term.  Not attachments needed.
