Will the IRS accept a Power of Attorney (Form 2848) that has been signed by the taxpayer via DocuSign, or must it be a "wet" ink signature?

How do you plan to submit the 2848?

I was planning to upload it to the IRS via the "Submit Forms Online" button on their website:

https://www.irs.gov/tax-professionals/submit-power-of-attorney-and-tax-information-authorizations

I was not going to Use the Tax Pro Account.
