Hi everyone - can you knowledgeable folks recommend a good book on S-Corp taxes? The books on Amazon are too cursory and seem to be aimed mostly at folks who are still trying to decide on a business structure (e.g., sole proprietorship vs LLC vs S-Corp). I'd need something more detailed than that, esp. on the information underlying form 1120S. I have a MBA and I am familiar with financial terminology and concepts. Thank you very much!
A good S corp return starts with clean financial statements.. I would recommend hiring a tax pro for maybe two or three hours to actually work on this together to prepare a few mock returns.
