1095A

Good afternoon,

My client has 4 individuals covered on his 1095A, including himself, he's not claiming them as dependents on his tax, 8962 for says Family size 1.  He's not reporting any shared policy allocation (100% to himself), I am confused, when filled out tax form, he's getting all most all of his premium credit back, is that possible?

Please help with answers.

Thank you

You still have to follow the protocol for individuals on the same policy who are in different tax families.  You'll need to fill out the allocation section.  I recommend reading through the instructions for Form 8962.  https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/i8962.pdf

Preparing taxes is not my life, but my life is amazing because I prepare taxes.
