Slip Sheet 1 presentation purposes and printing

Cil3217

For presentation purposes and printing, it would be nice if the Slip Sheet 1 would be the first page to be view or printed.  I believe it needs to be added to the Standard Client Letter Presentation List.

Leave the Slip Sheet by itself.  It needs to print first before anything else if selected, it should always be first.  We should not have to dig for it.

PLUS it can be used as a cover sheet if it prints first before the letters when selecting a PDF.  More than half of my clients no longer receive paper copies, and this keeps our firm name out in front, and is a good form of advertising.

Since I do not have any printing tax returns, I use this Slip Sheet 1 as a pdf tax return cover with the filing pdf copy, but with the client copy the letter and other stuff print it pdf in front of the slip sheet.

The filing copy has basically the forms only and is a great copy for distribution to banks etc when needed.

Ray,

The request is to have the slip sheet print first before the letter and the tax return.  I believe you have created an additional step in printing your tax returns.  You print the slip sheet 1 as a separate pdf.  You then print the tax returns.  Opening your tax return in adobe and add the slip sheet 1 to the file before the tax return.  You then send that file to client or third parties. I do basically the same thing.

I just want Pro Series to automatically print the slip sheet before the letter when you request a client tax return to not have to take the tax return to adobe.

I have not created an additional step.

I think you miss the real point of the problem.

The client letter always prints first, it is not part of the Print Order selection.  If you do not choose the client letter then the first item on the Print order list prints first, if you choose to include the Client letter then that prints first and NOTHING can print in front of it.

I setup the order I want things to print, then print once. I am not printing twice, and I am not moving around paper even when I print to paper, and I am not ever going to waste time taking the pdf elsewhere and waste time moving things around.

Adding the slip sheet to the client letter is reducing our options by including it in the Client letter block.

Computers should be automatically taking care of the stupid stuff and let me focus on CPA stuff, not filing and paper shuffling.
