Submitted by Peter Quinn a week agoReturn the ability to enter interest income items such as purchased interest, amortization of premium paid on bonds, etc. on the face of the Schedule B Smart Worksheet and NOT on the subsequent page. The current system does not give comfort that the entry is correct - everything can't be a positive number, yet that seems to be the current situation. This change was a disaster to the tax preparer - imagine what we had to go through when instructing staff on this idiotic change in data entry.
