part ix use electronic funds withdrawal for federal balance due after extension filed with payment

Program issues error when trying to make the Payment date for withdrawal for October 17, 2022, stating that the program date must be used.

My client likes to pay on the last day of the year every year and so while their return is finished they do not want to pay the government until it is due.  Its a libertarianism thing.

They have paid an amount for the extension, but have multiple documents K1 that don't appear until September 15th.

The rep indicated its a program thing, well why can't the program be changed to except a payment for October 17, 2022.

Causes me to try and file a return a October 17, kind of silly.

Wonder how many returns are filed that away or probably with an error code as what I think I was told in the past to do.
